VW T4 Transporter Elevated: Performance Injectors and Exhaust System
Recently, a VW T4 2.5tdi Transporter came into PP Tuning, not just for routine service, but for a complete performance overhaul. With a focus on precision and quality, this vehicle’s transformation showcases our expertise in injectors, exhaust systems, and engine remapping.
Upgraded Injectors for Enhanced Performance
Understanding the importance of reliable parts, the customer opted for new ACV 102bhp injectors, a significant upgrade from the standard 88bhp versions. This choice was crucial, as it allowed us to fully unlock the vehicle’s potential without the uncertainties associated with second-hand components.
Comprehensive Exhaust System Upgrade
To complement the injector upgrade, we installed a custom 2.5-inch down pipe and a matching 2.5-inch single exhaust system. Designed to reduce back-pressure and enhance exhaust flow, this setup is integral to achieving both performance gains and efficiency.
Precision Engine Remapping and Timing
The engine remapping and precise pump timing adjustment brought everything together. Initially, the T4 showed 113bhp and 268nm of torque. Post-upgrade, it boasted an impressive 136bhp and 305nm of smooth torque. Remarkably, this increase in power comes with absolutely no smoke – a testament to the meticulous setup and calibration of the vehicle.
