At PP Tuning, we relish the opportunity to unleash the true potential of a vehicle. Today, we had a special guest in our workshop: a Land Rover Freelander, the 2.2-litre TDI model with 150 bhp. This rugged machine, renowned for its off-road capabilities, became the perfect candidate for our specialised Pendle remapping service.
On the Road Data Logging
Given that this Freelander is equipped with 4-wheel drive, we opted for on-the-road data logging to get the most accurate performance readings. Real-world data collection is essential for tuning a vehicle that’s designed to tackle a variety of terrains.
Boosting Power with DPF Regen and Remap
Once the data logging was complete, it was time for a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) regeneration to clean and prepare the system for enhanced performance. Following the DPF regen, we proceeded with the Pendle remap, and the results were astounding. The Freelander’s output was boosted to an estimated 215 bhp with a whopping 480 nm of torque. That’s a significant leap from its original 150 bhp!

To round off the upgrade, the vehicle was taken for a road test by the owner, who returned with a grin from ear to ear. The customer was incredibly impressed with the newfound power and efficiency of their Freelander, a testament to the efficacy of our remapping service.
