We strapped the van onto our Maha rolling road dyno – the lie detector of the tuning world. Straight away, we spotted sticky turbo vanes trying to hold things back. A few full-throttle runs later and things started loosening up nicely. It’s what we call a bit of mechanical persuasion – dyno style.

Once the turbo was behaving, we gave this T5 the full works. She rolled out producing a tidy 206BHP and 451NM of torque, enough to make long motorway hauls feel like a Sunday spin. That’s not just a performance bump, that’s a whole new lease of life. Torque like that moves vans, and egos.
